Zell is officially walking! She took her first step last Monday, and has already gotten quite proficient at it. Yesterday we went to Monkey Joe's, where Annette climbed up and slid down the big slides all by herself. We're missing Daddy this week since he's in NYC for work, but Annette says he'll take her swimming again when he's home this weekend :-)

This morning we went to a friend's birthday party at the Houston Fire Museum. Annette enjoyed sliding down the fire pole, sitting in a fire truck, and hanging out in the fire house with her friends. Zell got to be a little fire chief too!

Annette had her last day of school today! She looked very stylish riding to school with Daddy :-) Zell and I joined her for lunch on the playground.

Annette loves playing "night-night", and lays all her dolls out on the floor and covers them up. Zell, on the other hand, believes that some cheese in the eye is worth two in the bush :-) Both girls looked absolutely adorable in their matching swimsuits at the splash pad today!

Zell's one-year stats: weight 23 pounds 2 ounces (81%), height 30 3/4 inches (93%). We're so lucky to have two fantastic sturdy little girls!

Happy Mother's Day! Zell had a wonderful time at her birthday party yesterday, and enjoyed her special breakfast and cupcakes :-) Papi Frank took some great pictures of her party, which I'll post next. Zell's excited to be 1 and is definitely close to walking soon!

Annette had fun at her friend Rachel's birthday party on Saturday! It was at the Aquarium downtown - all the kids got to look at the fish, check out a white tiger, go on the carousel, take a train ride and have pizza and cake :-)

The girls enjoyed swinging at the park yesterday. Annette swung all by herself, and Zell got a push from her big sis :-)
