Last weekend we enjoyed the beautiful weather - the girls like dining al fresco, and Annette has learned to swing all by herself at the park! The minute we got home Annette fell and got a big boo-boo on her forehead :-(

We're slowly getting used to having 2 dogs instead of 3. Zell is on a mission to cause as much destruction as a third dog would, and loves getting into the recycling box :-) It's rodeo time again, and Annette dressed up for a party at school last week where she got to ride on a saddle!

We lost a very special member of our family today - Bella, born December 2, 2003, died last night. She was attacked by a big dog on our street in the summer, and had internal injuries that were exacerbated by an accident yesterday morning. She was the first dog I got after I moved away from home, and over the past 8 years saw me through getting married, buying a house, and having babies. We buried her in the backyard under a tree, with a headstone that says "friendship". She was a special friend and will be dearly missed by all of us. Kendall said that he wants kids at his funeral too, since they're always so full of life and help bring joy to a somber event :-)

Annette went to her neighbor Kacey's 4th birthday party today! It had a fairy princess theme, and all the girls wore wings and crowns and carried magic wands :-)

Happy Valentine's Day! Annette took cookies and cards to school today to share with all her friends, and the girls (and Mommy) loved getting balloons and flowers from Daddy :-) Zell turned 9 months old on Sunday, and celebrated by crawling forward for the first time! She had her check-up today, and is 21 pounds (84%) and 28.5 inches (81%). We love our big and strong Valentine princesses!!

Zell is busy scooting around, and loves standing! The girls are official dual US-Canadian citizens now - their ID cards arrived this week :-)

Annette got invited to a fairy-themed birthday party, so is enjoying her new wings we got for the event :-) Her boyfriend Trey came over to play on Monday, and they had fun coloring on the driveway and riding Annette's new bike!

Mormor and Morfar came over for one last dinner sans chopsticks on Wednesday, and are now back in China until July. Today we had a fun outing at Memorial City mall, where the girls played at the castle and drove a car :-)

The girls had a great day yesterday - they bundled up and went out for a walk with Daddy (Annette liked wearing Mommy's toque), and went to a friend's birthday party in the afternoon at Discover Gymnastics!

Happy 8 month birthday, Zell! We enjoyed the nice weather yesterday by going to the park with Mormor and Morfar :-)

Today Zell and I went to Gymboree with my friend May and her daughter Ariana - the girls are 2 weeks apart in age, and enjoyed scooting around the gym :-) Annette loves helping out in the kitchen, especially when she gets to wear her own apron!

Annette had fun playing dress-up this afternoon with all the necklaces she got from Mormor and Morfar for Christmas :-)
